Protein Complex is a complementary feed for horses made in Sweden. Rich in protein and with a high proportion of essential amino acids.
Protein Complex is based on Swedish wheat stillage with a naturally high protein content. Wheat stillage is a by-product from the fermentation of wheat. During the fermentation process, the starch is consumed while the protein is concentrated, without reducing the high quality of the protein. The wheat stillage also contains a prebiotic yeast culture that helps balance the intestinal microflora and improves the body’s nutrient absorption.
Adapting to needs and ensuring sufficient protein intake is important for adult horses, but above all for growing horses. To build muscle and maintain muscle mass, the horse needs enough protein. Young horses also need to develop a strong skeleton, build muscles and supporting tissue such as ligaments and tendons, all of which require protein. Protein Complex’s high protein concentration, together with the fact that it contains all the amino acids the horse needs, makes it a perfect supplement to the daily feed.

For horses with a need for extra protein, in case of protein deficiency in the feed ration, or for horses that need to increase or maintain muscle mass. Dosage: 100 g per 100 kg body weight per day. Large horse (500 kg) 8 dl (500 g)/day. Pony (250 kg) 4 dl (250 g)/day. Or based on calculated feed ration.
