Product description

This NATHE Gag Pelham with straight bar provides an even action on the tongue, poll and corner of the mouth. It is a good choice for horses that are evading the impact of the reins and tend to be strong in the mouth. As the bridle exerts pressure on the corners of the mouth, there is an additional uplifting effect. In this way it is possible to enable targeted communication with your rein aids. The concise effect of this bit makes it particularly suitable for riders with sensitive hands.

A curb chain limits the leverage. At the same time, different rein configurations allow for different levels of leverage, so it is possible to respond individually to each horse.

NATHE bits are suitable for sensitive and mouth sensitive horses. Made from high quality thermoplastic, they are anti-allergic, temperature resistant and dimensionally stable.

Features:

  • Impact on tongue, poll, and corners of the mouth
  • With additional gag effect, puts pressure on the corners of the mouth
  • Curb chain limits the leverage effect on the poll and acts on the lower jaw
  • Variable rein options to adjust the leverage effect on the poll
  • Helps to create more control over strong horses that evade a contact
  • With steel core
  • Bit guards protect the lips
  • Curb chain included
  • Incl. HS gag cheeks

How do I care for my thermoplastic dentures? You should wash thermoplastic bits regularly and check their condition. Indentations caused by contact with the teeth, for example, can result in sharp edges on thermoplastic bits in particular, which can injure the horse.
