Product description

A Pelham acts on the mouth, lower jaw and poll when the reins are applied. Depending on the length of the shanks, the angle of the bit in the horse’s mouth can change and the action may vary accordingly. The Pelham can be used for horses that require more support in elevation or in situations where a more pronounced action is needed.
The double-jointed mouthpiece allows for a softer and more even pressure distribution over the tongue and bars and supports more refined rein aids.
